Dates announced for Liver Fluke CPD Scotland

Following on from the success of the Liver Fluke CPD around England, we are planning to proceed with two events north of the border:

Thursday 30th January at Knockomie Hotel, Grantown Road, Forres IV36 2SG. 
Liver Fluke in cattle & sheep – diagnosis, control measures & treatment
(To include a session on Worms in sheep & SCOPS strategies)

CPD sessions from 10am to 4pm (to include lunch)

Cost £150 for the full day meeting (or covered by the practice advance membership fee)

 

Wednesday 12th February at Glasgow Veterinary School (Room 201, Scottish Centre for Production Animal Health & Food Safety)
Liver Fluke in cattle & sheep – diagnosis, control measures & treatment

CPD session from 2pm to 7pm (to include light tea at 4.30pm)

Cost £60 (payable to Sheep Veterinary Society)

The sessions are very interactive & based primarily on small groups working through real case studies.  Six sessions have already been run throughout England with good to excellent feedback.

This CPD has been put together by the Sheep Veterinary Society (SVS) and the British Cattle Veterinary Association (BCVA) with input from the Moredun Research Institute, SCOPS, COWS, EBLEX and the National Sheep Association (NSA) as well as representatives of the Universities of Edinburgh, Liverpool and Nottingham.
