About UK Meetings

Two, three-day meetings are held each year, in May and September or October.

The meetings are held at various locations throughout Great Britain, so that distance to meetings is not a prohibiting factor against attendance. In the last few years meetings have ranged from Exeter and Wye in the south through Shropshire, Chester, Bangor, Scarborough and Ambleside to Pitlochry, Dumfries and Edinburgh in the north and Belfast in the west. The meetings are recognised for the quality of information presented and their friendliness.

The contents of meetings reflect the wide and varied interests of the membership in all aspects of sheep health and production. Details of a sample meeting is available to demonstrate the range of subjects covered. Wherever possible, “bolt-on” continuing professional development (CPD) courses are offered at these meetings.

Members may be accompanied by their husbands, wives or partners for whom an alternative programme
